To systematically identify and reject counterfeit products, Smartel Electronics has developed a thorough in-house inspection and verification process for all materials received in our warehouse.

Level 1 Inspection

For every component received, our Level 1 inspection process includes the following:

  • Manufacturer packaging and label inspection
  • Barcode verification
  • Manufacturer datasheet, drawings, and specification validation
  • Digital imagery of components
  • Component surface testing
  • Marking permanency testing
Any product which does not pass the Level 1 inspection or is deemed to be suspect is immediately flagged as non-conforming material and placed in quarantine.

These results are then reviewed by management to categorize, quantify, and analyze non-conformances, detect trends, and identify the need for corrective and preventative measures.

Level 2 Inspection.

To further demonstrate our commitment to quality and product integrity, we have aligned ourselves with some professional testing organizations.

These third-party testing facilities certify components based on MIL and IDEA standards.

Their services include: • • • . • . • .

  • Visual Inspection
  • Electrical Silicon Testing

Smartel Electronics will only ship products determined to be authentic. There are no exceptions to this policy.
